I found this interesting message in Autumn feelings and decided to copy it in this forum as well.

QUOTE Hello Ya all!
Well, I'm one of Ritva's students.
Surfing in internet is like another home to me. Because I like to practise my English, I've chosen English as my web language. That means I've got many "native English speakers" as e-mail friends and I'm visiting only foreign web-sites and forums. Even "MY MSN" is in English.
I'm a lazy student. I do my homework very seldom, and I'm not so good with grammar things. My method is just to use the language daily. It's more fun than just studying.
I've red more than 10 English novels during this year and usually I spend at least 2 hours in the evenings writing e-mails or visiting groups or forums I belong to. And all this I'm doing in English.
What is my motivation to learn English? Well, it's just the communication. I just want to be able to express my deepest thoughts in English and that is the way my world doesn't have any borders and limits anymore.
I want to thank you Ritva... you have encouraged me to use my language. Little by little I'm going to win my pronouncing problems.
It's late in the evening and I'm soon off for bed. Have a nice evening!
Talk to ya later! UNQUOTE

How can you be so active with your english skill? How can you spent two hours a day with a computer as a habby? Well, maybe I could understand you, I work too often in the evenings with computer, and I know that you cant control time then. I also often recognice than its twelve oclock at night, I must stop now. But its not my hobby, its my work. But as a mother, I have so much houseworks, and evenings are so short, that I have noticed many time, I would have so many thing to do, but no time to do...

Dear Player,
you took the words out of my mouth:
How can you be so active with your English studies? How can you spend two hours a day at the computer as a hobby? Well, maybe I could understand you. I, too, often work at the computer in the evenings, and I know that you can't control time then. I also often recognise that it's twelve o'clock at night, I must stop now. But it's not my hobby, its my work. But as a mother, I have so much housework, and evenings are so short that I have noticed many times, I would have so many things to do, but no time to do...
Well, that seems to be my life as well quite often. But every now and then...
Take care!
Ritva
