Many people read newspapers early in the morning.
What kinds of news: wars, sports...
Best regards

I think it's a very bad beginning of the day if I cannot read a newspaper. Ahter the election of the President of the USA there has been some articles of strikes in Finland.
How have you gone to work during the bus drivers' strike? Have you had big troubles?
Best regards

I don't read newspapers at home at all, but watch the news instead. If I read, I read books.

Aamulehti, my newspaper, is quite necessary. I can't imagine the morning without a newspapers. And it takes time to read it. And because I'm retired, I have it. I first read the first page to see the main news in the paper. Then I look if my name is on the page where they tell about the people who've died. If I'm not there, I jump straight to the culture pages.
Love
